Adventures with Glass and Fire

A couple of cool new auctions went up last night; one using an old favorite of mine and one an experiment in stringer, dots, and silvered glass.

Raku Squeeze

I’m a huge fan of raku, especially with a little clear partial encasing. The results are always interesting and unpredictable, giving rise to all manner of new and interesting patterns on the beads.

Fey Paths

This is an experiment that was supposed to turn out one way and ended up another. I can’t complain, though, this is a fantastic focal that combines my passion for organic beads with the precision of dots and stringers I’ve been working on for the past few months. I believe the future of my flamework style will be somewhere along the intersection of those two disciplines.
